Looking downhill to the north from the top of Diamond Head. The upper observation point (between the tunnel and upper stairs) is at the base of the top pole. The winch landing is further out that same ridge behind it, near where you can see two short sections of switchback. The trail beyond that on the crater floor is the concrete paved section heading towards the parking lot. It makes a right turn at the end of the visible section. That's where the first picture in this album was taken from, and this is the last picture.
